We’ve watched SalonSync become a familiar name across post-production over the years, so we’re particularly excited to see what’s next…
Salon has officially launched SalonOne, bringing SalonSync, Support and Services together through one single access point across desktop and mobile.
For editors and assistant editors, one of the biggest updates is SalonOne Mobile, the new home for SalonSync Monitor.
SalonSync, now in your pocket…
SalonOne Mobile gives editors and assistant editors a live view of their SalonSync projects wherever they’re working, whether that’s on set, in the cutting room or remotely.
You can monitor sync jobs in real time, track progress and pause or resume jobs remotely, without needing to open a laptop.
The new app also introduces Production Chat, giving teams a project-specific space to message each other in real time, with live typing indicators and full message history.
And for productions using SalonSync’s MASV-powered Dailies Portal, users can see incoming packages from set, including the sender, file size, delivery status and arrival time. So you can know your dailies have landed before you even get back to the cutting room.
One account, more connected workflows…
SalonOne also introduces a single account across its platforms and systems. Projects load automatically after signing in, with Face ID and Touch ID available for secure access.
SalonOne Mobile can be activated through a SalonOne login, QR code, or licence email and PIN, with the latest update also bringing increased security, stability and performance improvements.
Nick and the team are continually making updates to SalonOne and SalonSync with a load of new features coming soon, stay tuned!
For us at Post Super, it’s always great to see tools evolving alongside the way post-production teams actually work. And having worked closely with the Salon team over the years, we’re especially pleased to see this next chapter arrive.
We’re looking forward to seeing SalonOne develop and, as always, continuing to share the tools, people and ideas helping make post-production better.
Congratulations to Nick and the whole Salon team on the launch!
