Feb 2
And lets go!

Okay first! Call It App Trial

We have shouted about it already but I am so pleased to say that our first trial of the Call It App is launching! London facility Halo is diving in, offering the app to anyone working FOR them or WITH them... Kate from the Call It App had this to say...

"We are delighted that the BFC, Post Super and Halo Post share Call It!’s mission to make workplaces safer and fairer for everyone in post-production. We are making phenomenal films and TV in the UK and we rely on the commitment of our post-production workers to deliver them on time and to the highest standard: ensuring everybody in post-production feels safe and respected at work is essential. We know the wider post-production community agrees with us and we hope the Call It! app becomes a standard resource to support improved workplace culture in post across the UK."

What is Call It App?

Call It App is not just another pointless app; it's your dedicated ally in the journey towards good mental health, crew retention & general happiness at work. Crafted with the unique challenges of both production AND post-production professionals in mind, it's an app that aims to make well-being not just accessible but a proper focus. Investing in our well-being is a game-changer, not just for ourselves but for creating a kickass work environment too. This Halo trial is a chance to explore Mental Health initiatives for Post production & we are really looking forward to seeing how this is implemented! (And a huge thanks to the British Film Commission for allowing us to make this Trial possible!)

We are working on more mental health initiatives including a peer mentoring/support system, but in the interim, please see Screenskills website for more details HERE and if you or anyone you know is experiencing a mental health emergency please get in touch with one of the following organisations:

- Police/Emergency services (numbers are dependant on your location)
