This year’s International Broadcasting Convention (IBC) brought a lot of insight into the future of our industry. From crazily interesting advancements in artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) to the latest innovations from leading companies like Adobe, Blackmagic, and Avid, the event was a showcase of the rapid evolution taking place. The highlights underscored the industry's shifting landscape, particularly in post-production, cloud workflows, and assistive technologies, signalling an exciting era of transformation and growth.
Ha! Sounds pretty corporate right... Yes... but it's also true. So here are our takeaways from IBC 2024:
