Dreamsound’s New Headquarters: Between Hollywood, Cannes, and London

The well-known sound post-production company, Dreamsound, has officially opened its brand-new headquarters. Located in Warsaw’s Sadyba district, the modern four floors building is the only purpose-built sound post-production house in Warsaw and marks a new chapter for the firm that has been a key player in the Polish film industry for 18 years.

Founded in 2006 by Kacper Habisiak and Marcin Kasiński, Dreamsound has contributed sound design to over 200 films and series, including recent projects like Oscar Nominated Corpus Christi, Boxer, Kleks’ Academy, Woman of…, Sexify, High Water, Kos, and Colors of Evil: Red. The studio was also responsible for the foley sound effects in the Oscar-winning “The Zone of Interest”.

At the heart of the new headquarters are Dolby Atmos mixing studios, two of which are designed for cinema, while one is tailored for broadcast. These are complemented by 12 sound editing suites and a dedicated studio for ADR recordings. All of this has been achieved in compliance with TPN and MPAA guidelines.

The rooms in the new facility are named after famous film cities and festivals, such as Cannes, Berlin, Toronto, Hollywood, Sydney, Venice, and Sundance.

Client areas include a lounge, meeting spaces, conference rooms, and a terrace and garden are perfect for social gatherings.
Habisiak explains that Dreamsound’s vision was to create more than just a technical; they aimed to build a place where people would enjoy spending time. “We wanted a space where our guests – directors, producers, and actors – would feel at home. The feedback we’ve received confirms we’ve achieved that”

Anna Kępińska, a producer at Telemark known for works such as High Water, Pact and UFO, praises the facility: “It’s a thoughtfully planned and comfortable space for creative work, production meetings, and screening sessions.”

Celebrated director Jan Komasa, who is finishing his Hollywood debut Anniversary at Dreamsound, also shares his admiration: “In the heart of the historic Sadyba Garden City, Dreamsound has created a fantastic space capable of hosting international productions that demand the highest quality in sound direction.”

This new headquarters is a reflection of Dreamsound’s growth and ambition, firmly placing it on the global map of sound post-production hubs while remaining rooted in the heart of Warsaw’s cinematic culture.
