Corey Martin has joined The Look as a Flame Artist and Online Editor. Formerly with The Farm/Picture Shop, Corey will work alongside Online Editors Tom Boyle, Aidan Bennett and Mark Maltby. The Look is making hires as it takes on ever more complex high-end VFX heavy TV series. The facility is also expanding to the top floor of its Margaret Street facility which will have three new suites and a large client cafe and meeting area.
Thomas Urbye, CEO and Supervising Colourist at The Look comments “Aidan had worked with Corey at The Farm, and he was well known by a number of our Post Super clients. Upon meeting him we felt he would fit our facility culture and bring some great skills to the team. The lines between traditional online work and VFX are starting to blur, and our Online Editors are using Flame in ever more complex ways to give fast solutions to what traditionally would be VFX shots. Even our Colourists are adding new skies, fog and rain to shots in an attempt to get high quality results quickly! With the scale of the projects we are working on now, Corey is going to bring his great sense of humour, skills and even more breadth to our great talent pool.”
Recent series include The Gold, Sex Education (all seasons), Gangs of London (all seasons), Liason, Top Boy (all seasons), Landscapers, Somewhere Boy and Three Pines.
