Source-Nexus I/O
Unlock your software! Insert audio to and/or from any device into your session through our AAX, VST, AU plugins & custom driver network.

With support for up to 64 channel configurations, Source-Nexus I/O has improved synchronization between plugins so if you have more than one instance of the plug-in, the audio streams are synchronized. Say you are splitting a stereo signal to 2 plug-ins: both channels will stay synchronized which is critical for real-time audio workflows.
Source-Nexus Review
Seamlessly integrate your DAW mix, talkback microphone, and client-communications with meeting platforms.

Source-Nexus Review now allows you customize the keyboard shortcut for talkback and dim and select dim attenuation value. Source-Nexus Review is an increasingly sophisticated yet very simple method to integrate your DAW mix, talkback microphone, and client-communications with remote meeting platforms—no advanced mix/minus setup required.
Source-Nexus Gateway
The meeting room for audio professionals who want to host flawless mix-review and playback sessions with guests.

Source-Nexus Gateway has seen a ton of updates such as the highly-requested background blur for video chat privacy – hide your messy room that you should probably clean. You can also use a hardware or virtual camera input for your presentation which provides a workaround for sharing the Pro Tools video window, in the case that it cannot be shared normally due to limitations in screen sharing functionality, by using it as a source in a third party app, such as OBS, and creating a virtual camera and using that as the Source-Nexus Gateway presentation camera input or splitting a hardware video output and and recapturing via hardware.
Screen sharing now available for all participants, 2 screen shares max at the same time, and the HQ audio (high quality audio/original audio) indicator always visible on participant windows and can be clicked on your self view window to turn it on and off. Finally, the level meters now use peak values instead of RMS values in order to more closely match the metering you would see in your DAW.
Source-Nexus Mute-On
Automate your signal flow. Extend what’s possible with your DAW with scripting based on the Play/Rec/Idle state of your DAW, or via ext. triggers.

Source-Nexus Suite also welcomes the new Source-Nexus Mute-On which automates advanced customized workflow by muting or dimming any track/channel specifically when stopped, recording and playback, as well as via custom keyboard and midi triggers. The latest update includes plugin presets to easily set up the most common workflows.
Mix & match audio signals between audio devices without opening a DAW. Customize your setup for workflow perfection.

What’s next?
Coming up, Source-Nexus Review standalone, for the benefit of talent to make use of the features without needing to run a DAW. For video editors it will easily set up the route for their speaker monitors, the talkback from the client and the feed to the broadcast. Same for anyone that doesn’t want to use a plugin, even for those using DAWs but are often opening or closing sessions and don’t want to lose communications. You could also use an external computer for the broadcast and communications….. A ton of uses. Stay tuned.
User feedback
Users report that Source-Mute On has more functionality, replacing less flexible and “does what other plug-ins say they do but don’t”
Max Howerth
“Mute-on is brilliant. We’ve tried a few other plugins over the years that purport to do the same thing but they were nowhere near as elegant (and nice looking) as Mute-On. We have an external Shure Microflex talkback mic which is switchable on and off via a touch switch but now we can leave the mic open and insert Source-Nexus Mute-On across that channel, with the setting ‘mute on record’ enabled. We can now have talkback open in all other scenarios other than when we go into record and it works perfectly. Thank you. It’s fantastic.”

“I’ve been looking for a software solution that provides DAW internal mute and talkback functionality for a long time. So when I first heard about Mute-On I was really excited to say the least. Thankfully I had the chance to test the plugin during the beta phase and the features in the description sounded very promising. Well, I wasn’t disappointed.
Source-Nexus provides a complete package for remote sessions and creative collaboration but I’d like to focus on Mute-On since that’s a game changer for me. With Mute-On you can basically set up a smart communication routing without the need of a hardware controller. It can dim or mute signals of your choice within the DAW, triggered by the DAW’s play status or individual key or MIDI commands. And that’s where it gets really interesting for me, I’m finally able to trigger talkback, mute or dim via a simple MIDI controller. I’m now able to setup a remote ADR session that will automatically mute production sound when recording, mute the remote signal for the artist inside the booth on record (while the same signal in the control room stays unmuted), dim all sounds and open my line of communication to the remote client by pressing a foot switch that sends a MIDI command to the plugin.
All you need is Mute-On and if you prefer a foot switch over a keyboard command, a small MIDI keyboard + sustain pedal will do the trick. Connect the MIDI keyboard to your DAW, select it within the plugin, hit the learn button and press the switch. Done. This way I don’t have to go through the trouble of manually muting or unmuting myself and can finally get rid of the headphones since dimming the speakers will reduce bleeding into the mic and avoid unwanted echoes.
All of that independent of the studio and the available hardware. I’m super impressed and happy to have finally found the workflow I was looking for. Thank you, Source Elements.”

“Regarding Mute-On, everything appears on the tin. I’ve been using ‘Mutomatic’ until now. This is way more useful!! Kudos to the chef!”
