This survey was completed in Spring 2023 to provide anonymous information to inform the UK Freelance Post Production Producers, Supervisors and Coordinators of current rates & conditions trends. This survey is run by individuals in our community & is published as anonymous statistics.

70% of this band’s respondents got an END credit only, 20% had main titles credits & 10% received single card credit.

100% of this band’s respondents said they were was working full time/Exclusively on 1 project

100% of this band’s respondents said it was up to the Post team to create/manage the dailies workflow

This is the only level that employed a Post Assistant, the rate for this position was £700pw

Coordinators for these projects all had more than two years of experience & were paid between £1100-1650 pw

All Post Supervisors surveyed had between 5-10 years experience & were paid between £2100-2500 pw

Most Post producers & Co-producers working on Band 3 projects were paid £2700-6000 pw with a couple of first time credit Post producers being paid slightly less. 

Features – Because of fewer respondents in Features we have come up with more sweeping statements to avoid naming names.

Post Coordinators 

Earn between £850 pw for micro budget (Less than £1M) up to £2000 for High (15-30M) & Premium budget (£30M & above)

Most Features Post Coordinators have less than 5 years experience in the industry & work Non exclusively for multiple projects at once, the exception to this is the High (£15-30M) & Premium budget (£30M & above) that tend to be Exclusive to one project

All coordinators received End Credits

Post Supervisors & Producers 

Earnt between £1400 to £1500 pw for the most part (working on a Non-exclusive basis), but the only responses received were for Medium Budget Projects (£5-15M) everyone in senior Post Production management positions on larger budget projects (£15M up) received the Post Producer credit & respondents reported rates of up to £3000 per week.

Most Features Post Supervisors & Producers had more than 10 years experience in the industry & received End Credits, however there was one respondent who said that they received a Main card credit.
