Alecia's bio -
Post production found Alecia Weaver in 2011 and hasn't let go of her since. Alecia is grateful for that discovery since being a Post Producer is the ideal blend for her of creativity, minutiae, and problem solving. She believes that post production is the best part of the filmmaking process, hands down. Online, color, visual effects, sound, and music are what truly bring a project together and can elevate something from good to great or great to epic. She has often been called "eagle eyed” for spotting issues that many others miss.
Alecia spent the first 10 years or so of her post production career in Los Angeles, California before moving to Edinburgh, Scotland. She now works between Scotland and London. The majority of her time in Los Angeles was spent working on Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul. Working on those projects was a priceless education in great post producing.
While living and working in the UK, Alecia hopes to continue to bring about a better awareness of the benefits a strong post production team brings to any project and champion a greater appreciation for all things post production. (Also, to get Post involved at prep!)
