Guest 2: Deborah Stone, Unreal Engine Artist and VP Producer

Bio:

Hello, fellow filmmakers

I’m Deborah Stone, a Producer, Virtual Production Artist, and Digital Human Supervisor. I’m deeply passionate about film, virtual production, and championing diversity and inclusion.

Ever been curious about the magic behind traditional vs. virtual film? I’ve immersed myself in both realms. While traditional film captures a singular moment, virtual provides a panoramic experience. What truly excites me about virtual production? It empowers filmmakers like me to visualise scenes in intricate detail.

I’ve been privileged to work alongside Real-time Creative Directors such as Tupac Martir and to dive into the VFX industry with Soho post houses like Unit, Platform, and Envy. From London to LA, I’ve coordinated winning pitches with industry giants, including renowned names like Unit9 and Radical Media. And if you happened to flip through Vogue in the 90’s, you might’ve come across some of my work.

At my core, I aim to bridge the gap between traditional and avant-garde film techniques. Armed with tools like Unreal Engine, I’m eager to pioneer the next chapter in storytelling.

Looking forward to our paths crossing soon! 🎥💡
