1185 Films is a boutique, full-service production and post-production company founded in 2003 by producer and director Nick Franco. People say we’re a bit rock’n’roll. We think that’s because we break down barriers, we say what we mean and we’re always willing to take creative risks. But, like any successful rock‘n’roll outfit, we’re highly professional, we always deliver and we’re always on time.
With state-of-the-art facilities in Farringdon, central London, we offer an end-to-end creative package from concept to delivery, with in-house post-production and VFX from our 1185 Post division, plus the best freelance talent from our agency division, 1185 Talent. We produce feature films and TV programs in all genres across all major UK broadcasters (BBC, C4, ITV, Sky and C5) and many US and international broadcasters. We were recently proud to co-produce the spine-tingling horror film All You Need is Death, directed by our talented friend Paul Duane and acquired by XYZ Films.

The 1185 Films name comes from the 1.85:1 widescreen cinema aspect ratio because our love of the cinema inspires everything we do.
